Hamilton Blake Safety Companies work with building owners, construction companies and theatrical organizations with site-surveys and inspections to develop comprehensive and OSHA/ANSI compliant fall protection systems and proper rigging/construction concepts and engineering in both new construction and retrofit situations.

Here are several examples of work performed recently: 

Granite Construction Company, Reno, Nevada. Challenge: Scaling Operation of Railroad Cut - Working on a steep hillside the contractor needed professional evaluation, a work plan, training and equipment to remove rocks from the mountain side - keeping their employees 100% safe at all times. Working with the supervisors and crew, we successfully trained the crew on proper safety techniques to remove debri and rocks from hillside in order to get the job done

Consulting, planning, preparation, training - and the job was successfully completed on time!

Schindler Elevator Corporation, Las Vegas, Nevada. Challenge: Develop a safe lifting plan and rigging training for employees horizontally and vertically lifting 23,000 lb. escalators into position at the City Center Project. See Photos Below:

Teamwork, training and planning helped Schindler Elevator accomplish their important mission at City Center with Zero Rigging Mishaps!

We have consulted with a variety of clients at the City Center project, at $7.4 billion, currently the most expensive privately-funded project in the western hemisphere and in U.S. history. It's taken 8,000 construction workers, and 39 cranes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We have worked with Bomel Construction, Schindler Elevator Corporation, Stanley Access Technologies, and Giroux Glass in consultation to develop safe rigging plans and with training employees to work 100% safely at height.

City Center, Las Vegas presented many challenges to everyone involved over the past 3 years.

Pinnacle Las Vegas, Nevada. Consulted, engineered and designed roof access for BME for Building Maintenance Equipment. Project is currently canceled. See Photo Below:

Although the project is currently suspended, the Pinnacle Las Vegas - should it come alive again - is ready with an excellent system to protect workers at height!

Wynn Las Vegas and Encore, Las Vegas, Nevada. Consulted with the designer for all fall protection systems and operations, gear and training to keep access workers safe and in compliance with OSHA/ANSI 1910 and 1926 standards. "Fall Protection Consultant of Record." We designed and engineered horizontal and vertical lifeline systems, ladder climbing systems, trained and equipped workers in rope access mode and for fall protection. This is an on-going project. Working with Wynn Design & Development, we have designed and installed fall protection systems at height and in confined space areas throughout the Wynn properties. Employee training is on-going .

The Wynn and Encore towers dominate the Las Vegas skyline - with the design came a lot of caring for workers at height
